Project description
The ABB company is a leading provider of automation and power technology. The ABB Switzerland company in Dättwil is the center of expertise within the ABB corporation for cement plant construction. The cement plants in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, decided to expand their existing plants, and engaged ABB as a subcontractor for energy technology and automation, because the high reliability and quality of ABB products meet the operational requirements. INP Switzerland supported ABB in executing the energy technology portion, both in planning and project scheduling in Dättwil, as well as implementation on site.

The renovation was implemented in close cooperation with ABB:
- planning the renovation of the existing MV system, and expansion by one new system block
- Generation of system documentation
- Installation and wiring supervision on site
- Adaptation of existing MV fields
- Inspection and commissioning of the new switching system

- Support with integration of new motors and drives
