Project description

For TransnetBW in Baden-Württemberg, general planning services for a 380kV GIS new-build project have been taken on at the Weinheim site. The project was already taken over by INP during the preliminary planning phase at our customer‘s site and will continue to be managed until completion. Based on the technical requirements of TransnetBW, possible designs of the plant were examined and the best possible variant was worked out according to the on-site conditions. This was accompanied by the preparation of the functional tender documents up to the awarding of the contract. In the course of execution by the general contractor, quality assurance for the primary and secondary technology was provided by INP.
Following the preparation and elaboration of various variants and determination of the best possible design, the functional specifications and the associated invitation to tender (scope of supply and services, including technical equipment) were drawn up on this basis.
After support in the tendering process and evaluation of the bids, quality assurance tasks were taken over in the areas of primary and secondary technology. This included technical clarification discussions with the general contractor to ensure correct implementation of the customer‘s guidelines, as well as acting as an interface to the transmission system operator‘s technical experts.
