mhkw Rothensee GmbH, a joint venture of the Städtischen Werke Magdeburg GmbH (municipal utility company) and E.ON Kraftwerke GmbH, constructed a new waste-fueled power plant with electrical and controls systems from ABB.
Project description
The waste-fueled power plant is intended to burn non-recyclable trash from residential and industrial waste. The plant is laid out for a waste quantity of 300,000 tons annually, and has a capacity of 40 tons/hour with gross power generation of 32 MW.
