PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Quintan 9 is a production system for manufacturing multi-layer artificial casings for the food industry. The plant is operated in Brazil under challenging climatic conditions and - compared to the previous system - achieves a much higher product throughput. The plant was implemented with SIEMENS S7 components with the help of bus technology (Profibus-DP) and distributed peripherals (ET200).
