Stadtwerke Speyer reliably supplies its customers with electricity, natural gas, heat and fresh drinking water. To maintain an uninterrupted supply, they effectively use a SCADA System for combined energies supply. The entire network management of all supply lines is carried out via the SCADA systems. Faults are efficiently localized and eliminated.
The existing network control system was to be modernized and expanded. A special feature here was the installation of a joint interconnected network control system for Entsorgungsbetriebe Speyer and Stadtwerke Speyer.
For this project, INP carried out the planning of the network control system and the supervision of its implementation (HOAI LPH 1 to 8).
In the early planning phase, INP carried out requirements management, held oneon- one meetings with the technical staff of Stadtwerke Speyer, and recorded the requirements for the new network control system to be planned. A market survey and discussions with potential suppliers enabled the current technical possibilities to be identified. The basis for the planning of the new network control system was a survey of the current situation and close coordination with the client. In this way, the required functions were described and a specification sheet was drawn up for the invitation to tender.
The project volume required the execution of a European tender. In this process, INP planned the tender, evaluated the documents submitted, conducted the technical and commercial negotiations, and managed the award process.
From the start of the project, INP was responsible for coordinating and managing project implementation in accordance with the requirements and contractual documents. INP was responsible for technical and contractual supervision throughout the commissioning phase, trial operation, acceptance, and beyond.
