Project description
Fujairah F2 is the 2nd largest IWPP in the world with nearly 2GW of Power. The units consist of 3 Multishafts with GT26 Gas Turbines. As the largest source of power generation and fresh water production in the region, the Units run nearly year round on base load, only being shut down for short annual inspections. INP assisted Ansaldo Energia during the 2017 C-Inspection on one of the 2+1 Units.
INP supported with highly skilled specialists for GT commissioning, I&C Steam Turbine Commissioning as well as specialists for the entire electrical scope of works.
In addition, INP also assisted with providing full electrical commissioning tools and instrumentation, as well as handling documentation, safety issues and scheduling for the complete electrical scope. The combined works between Ansaldo Energia Switzerland and Genoa, and INP International Projects led to the combined success of the outage.
