Project description

The South African corporation Sappi is a global leader in paper and pulp manufacturing. The company group not only manages its own forests, it is also increasingly supplying its production facilities from its own power plants. In 2006, it was decided to expand an existing plant by one additional turbine. INP International Projects was contracted by Siemens to provide planning, construction, and commissioning of the turbine and generator monitoring system for the planned expansion, using the Siemens six-pack standard.
