VKU (Verband kommunaler Unternehmen e.V.) is an important lobby group for municipal companies in Germany. It helps to pass on concerns about the energy transition, but also creative solutions from the companies to the government.
Therefore, a large meeting with members and representatives of the VKU regional group Rhineland-Palatinate recently took place in Neuwied. One of the premium sponsors on this day was INP-Deutschland GmbH.
The program was very diverse, including panel discussions with Minister President Malu Dreyer and lectures with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lamia Messari-Becker from the University of Siegen.
Climate protection and the resulting energy turnaround is a major, central issue in today's world. Municipal companies must therefore create opportunities to develop and implement sustainable solutions. One of the goals for more intensive cooperation is networking with each other.
The problem with the energy and heat turnaround, however, is the execution of the planned projects, because many municipalities and cities lack skilled personnel.
This is where INP Deutschland GmbH comes in, standing for sustainable concepts, integration and execution. In the past, major projects have already been carried out for the municipal utilities of Karlsruhe, Stuttgart or Speyer in the field of energy supply.
Managing Director Georg Jester and Project Manager Clemens Bruder presented the INP portfolio as well as already implemented concepts and planning, and the possibilities of cooperation. Among other things, this involves project development, technical and scheduling planning, construction engineering planning and permit management.
The first steps have already been taken, but there is still a long way to go before all the difficulties of gaining the acceptance of the citizens, to more environmentally friendly changes, are put aside.
Together, we can master the challenges of the energy and heat turnaround and make our region a pioneer in sustainability and climate protection.
