In late fall 2019, INP employees and family members planted more than 700 trees. This campaign was planned by management on the occasion of the company’s anniversary in order to give something back to the region for the successful 30-year company history.
In the Harthausen forest, more precisely on the Bremmerbuckel not far from the barbecue hut, there is a conservation area of approx. 1,500 square meters (16,146 square feet). The eager helpers were supported by forest rangers Jürgen Render and Sven Ofer in their efforts to plant oaks and chestnut trees that are typically seen in this area.
And now, in the summer of 2020, the fruits of the labor can be seen: Many of the plants planted last year have grown tall and healthy. Render says: “In 150 years, maybe 20 of the trees we planted will still be left, but they will be opulent and tall – an impressive symbol for our sustainable commitment to nature.”
