I feel good here and I can get things done!
More than 30 years of INP! We're proud of it.
On 27 February 2025, the new waste boiler 5 at the Ludwigshafen joint waste-to-energy plant (GML) was officially accepted - a significant milestone in the IGNIS project. After five years of intensive work, including the dismantling of the old boilers 1 and 2 and the new construction of boilers 4 and 5, the project is now in its final phase - almost on schedule.
INP Deutschland was responsible for project management and control throughout the planning and construction phase. With up to 15 employees on site at the same time, we acted as a reliable partner to ensure realisation across all trades. The successful completion once again demonstrates our expertise in managing complex large-scale projects.
The new boiler utilises state-of-the-art technology to further increase the efficiency of waste incineration. This will ensure reliable waste disposal for one million Rhineland-Palatinate residents. Optimised incineration processes will make waste recycling more environmentally friendly and increase capacity. The foundation for this modernisation was laid with the commissioning of boiler 4 over two years ago. In 2024, GML achieved the highest throughput volume in its history with around 223,000 tonnes of incinerated waste.
We would like to thank our customer GML for their trust and everyone involved for the successful collaboration. INP will remain a strong partner for challenging infrastructure projects in the future!
