Andreas Köpp, Head of Contract Management at the global engineering services provider INP, received power of attorney in January 2022. The two managing directors Georg Jester and Knut Mertens are thus honoring the many years of trustful cooperation.
Andreas Köpp has been employed at INP's headquarters in Römerberg since September 2010.
After passing his first state law examination and successfully completing his business administration studies, the business administration graduate decided to take a position in project management at INP Deutschland GmbH.
Today, as head of contract management, Köpp is responsible in particular for drafting and reviewing contracts and for purchasing at INP.
As a technical service provider with over 500 employees and currently 12 locations worldwide, INP is one of the leading engineering service providers in power plant and large-scale plant construction as well as the energy industry. For more than 30 years, INP has been serving the fields of process control and automation technology, electrical power engineering, mechanical and welding engineering, and thermal process engineering. In addition, INP offers its expertise in quality management and occupational safety on large construction sites. The newly founded INP Infrastructure GmbH supports grid utilities in project management in the area of large grid expansion projects.
Köpp said in the interview: "I am very pleased about the appointment, because I feel very comfortable at INP and with the power of attorney I can continue to actively shape and preserve the future - and here above all the legal security in our business. And I feel that the expansion of my scope of action is recognition of my successes and my "hard" work.
My work is characterized above all by the following "3 C's": to care, coordinate, and control. For me, this means not approaching my work with ready-made templates, but always focusing on the goals and requirements of colleagues and customers.
