Only three years ago, the globally operating engineering service provider INP International Projects responded to the need for new office space arising out of the continuous growth by increasing one of its buildings by a new office floor. In 2018, the fiber-optic network in the commercial district along the B9 highway was expanded at INP's decisive instigation.
Now, after a long waiting period, the building permit for another construction project was granted. The new building will mainly provide social rooms – a relaxation room and a lounge with a kitchen for employees as well as additional meeting rooms.
In recent years, available space had become scarce due to the considerable increase in the number of employees. In order to be able to construct such a building on the company premises in the industrial area, the former test facility had to be sacrificed. In this building with a truck ramp and special technical equipment, control cabinets for customer projects were built and tested until recently.
Demolition of the test facility will start soon. The new building should be completed by the end of the year. The building project takes place in the year of the company's 30th anniversary and is overseen by INP co-founder and co-shareholder Klaus Jungknecht. “We would like to celebrate our anniversary in the new premises in November”, says Jungknecht confidently. “If everything goes as planned, the remaining work will be carried out in December.”
