INP: Specialists for Biomass
Numerous experts presented the industry trends to an audience of about 350 visitors. The conference focused on topics such as:
• Bio energy 2020-2030-2050
• Bio energy in the world market
• Wood gas systems
• Value added through bio energy usage
• Wood mobilization and climate protection
The event was organized by the Austrian Biomass Association together with the Chamber of Agriculture. The Heating Plant Operator Day attracted particular attention – this was an event organized by the Working Group for Biomass Local Heating (ABiNa).
As a sponsor, INP had the opportunity to take an exhibition stand and present the wide range of our services, including the new burnout monitoring software IKA (INP camera evaluation) to potential customers directly. With expert knowledge of firing output control systems in the power plant sector and reference projects at small wood chip heating plants in Austria, we established a good basis for discussions and a lively exchange of experience with heating plant operators. In this way, we made some interesting contacts and attracted a certain amount of interest in increasing efficiency in heating plants by optimizing the biomass boilers. Finally, cost saving potential and optimization concepts represented central topics of the Biomass Convention. At the end of the two-day event, we returned with a positive feeling and many new contacts.
