„Cargo Connect”

The INP team consisting of students from the Karl-Friedrich-Gymnasium in Mannheim under the direction of Wojciech Herrmann and Felix plackert shined again this year at the FLL

The regional competition took place on April 2, 2022 at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. This time the situation without spectators and as a hybrid event was a very different but nice experience for our team.

In Robot Game, things went better from round to round and the team made it to the semifinals. In Robot Design, the students placed third and the team also made it to third place in the overall standings.

In the research project, the team even took first place and received a trophy. Their research question was "How can transportation be improved while reducing traffic congestion?" 

In response, they developed a concept to transport packages in urban regions by drones. 

Currently, some team members are still busy building their own drone, even though the competition is already over. We are happy to see so much exploratory spirit!
