The new apprentices Sophie de Baker and Immaculate Schaal are taking on a big task: Within a three-year project they want to ensure that INP becomes even more sustainable.
On a large scale, INP has been on the right track for a long time: Photovoltaic systems to cover its own electricity consumption and wood from local forests as building material for the last two remodeling and new construction projects as well as the introduction of bike leasing are a true testimony to this commitment.
Now the two new trainees have started to focus on the small things in life, because they also want to ensure that our daily work materials such as paper and pens, cleaning agents, or toilet paper are environmentally friendly and sustainable.
But that is not all: everything – and we mean really everything – will be put to the test in the next three years! They plan to proceed in three phases: First replacement, then avoidance, and ultimately sharing.
The support of all coworkers is particularly important here: Sophie de Baker and Immaculate Schaal are asking for everyone to share their ideas with them to promote sustainability at INP, regardless of how small or big.
Together we can achieve a lot!
