30 Years of INP International Projects

INP International Projects is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. "We mostly owe this success to the people behind INP, our employees," explain managing directors Georg Jester and Knut Mertens. How proud they are of the trusting and productive cooperation is also expressed by the slogan they have selected as the motto to commemorate this special anniversary year: More than 500 people contribute to INP.

When Katharina Jester-Lutz founded Nicklas & Partner GmbH in 1989 with Norbert Nicklas and Klaus Jungknecht, she had no idea how successful the company would eventually become. But after initial difficulties, the order situation, and with it the company, grew steadily. INP has made a name for itself in the sectors of power plant and large-scale plant engineering as well as in the energy industry. In addition to the original headquarters in Römerberg, today there are more than 10 locations worldwide where INP International Projects designs individual solutions for its customers. Starting out as a specialist for control systems, INP has constantly expanded its portfolio over the past 30 years. In the meantime, INP has established itself as a reliable partner for process control engineering, automation technology, power technology, machine and welding technology, thermal process engineering as well as construction and infrastructure projects.

"The energy market is not easy; it constantly fluctuates," reports Jester. "However, due to our strategic alignment, which is deeply rooted in international outreach as well as the competence of our employees and the trusting relationship with our customers, we are optimistic about the future."
