The 14th VDMA Construction Site Day took place in Frankfurt on May 25 and 26. For two days, participants from Germany's mechanical and plant engineering sector were able to find out about new, innovative solutions. Among other things, the event addressed the challenges posed by rising costs for energy and raw materials, as well as the shortage of skilled workers in the industry. INP Managing Director Knut Mertens gave a presentation on practical solutions for retaining employees.
Another topic was European plant engineering on the Egyptian market. "Egypt is a future market for suppliers of green technologies from Germany and Europe," said INP Egypt CEO Alaa Kamal, who gave this presentation together with Knut Mertens.
Both topics were right on the pulse of the times and were very well received. The contributions of the other speakers were also very interesting and relevant and stimulated an intensive professional exchange.
An extremely successful VDMA event!
